Mrs. Nancy Baron

I grew up on Long Island and love the beaches, the hiking trails, the East End, shopping and restaurants. As long as I could remember I knew that I wanted to become a teacher. How lucky that my dreams came true! My education at Boston University, where I received a Bachelor's Degree, and my schooling at Hofstra University, where I received my Master's Degree have paved the way for a wonderful career path. I taught Kindergarten in the Hicksville School District and first grade in the East Meadow School District. I was an Intervention teacher for students in grades two through five, as well. I am so fortunate to be at JFK now, teaching second grade.

I love all kinds of music, dancing and I try to exercise as often as I can. Fun times include exploring the parks, museums and the culture of New York City and all it has to offer. I treasure family visits and entertaining friends.

I have a terrific family; two wonderful sons, Josh, a financial analyst and Jake, a special education teacher. My extended family includes many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. We are a spectacular clan!
