Before becoming an elementary school librarian I was a classroom teacher and taught grades 2, 3, and 4. I went back to school to become a librarian and I am so happy that I did! Now I get to read and share literature with children of all ages. I couldn't ask for a better way to spend my day.

I have one sister and a niece and nephew who live on Long Island. My parents live in Rhode Island where I am originally from. I love spending time with my niece and nephew and going to the library and the park together. I also enjoy holidays with my family, especially Thanksgiving. There is always a lot of laughter when we are together.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the movies and the theater and traveling to new places. I also enjoy reading mystery books and discovering new authors.
