Ms. Monica Casazza
I am proud, honored and excited to be entering my 25th year of teaching Elementary Art with the Great Neck Public Schools. I truly love engaging, challenging and motivating my students with wonderful projects which include: Ceramics, Printmaking, Painting, Sculpture, Mixed Media and Art History/Appreciation. I will also be offering Art Club for grades 4 and 5 in alternating 4 week sessions. My goal as an Art teacher is to encourage creative problem solving and imaginative thinking, on all levels of instruction. Additionally, teaching students art skills and techniques in a wide variety of media will allow them to express an enormous range of subject matter and ideas in a relevant, personal way. I received my BFA with honors from Alfred University, and my MA from New York University's graduate program in Venice Italy. I was listed in Who's Who Among American Educators, as well as, Who's Who Among American Women.
