WELCOME TO S.E.E.K. The S.E.E.K. (Supporting Educational Exploration and Knowledge) program begins formally in third grade. This program provides in-depth extended instruction for those students with superior aptitudes and strong cognitive skills. The program fosters critical and creative thinking in an inquiry based learning environment. Students engage in rigorous challenges beyond the regular classroom setting. Participation in S.E.E.K. includes a variety of selection criteria. • Parent input • Teacher recommendation • Academic performance • S.E.E.K. Teacher provides teacher-made critical assessments in math and language arts. These assessments are administered in the classroom to aid in the selection process. Modules include math, literacy and science. |
