Each school establishes a Building Representative Committee (BRC) to discuss issues related to the operation of the school building and the implementation of the GNTA contract. BRCs are comprised of groups of teachers who are elected by their colleagues. BRCs are led by a chairperson or chairpersons and meet on a regular basis. Some of the common tasks performed by BRCs include review of assignments, schedules, and class size. An important task of the BRC is to report to the faculty on a regular basis about these important issues.
