The Global Communications Center is an interactive multimedia lab aimed at
enhancing and personalizing the delivery of the program.
The Global Communications Center includes 2 cassette audio sources and 4 video sources (1 video disc player, 1 visualizer, 1 VCR, 1 multi-standard VCR-Converter, and SCOLA satellite capability.
The typical distractions and noise interference in the classroom are replaced by an atmosphere conducive to language-learning where each student is engaged all the time.
Results on listening and speaking tests have improved markedly and have become more consistent as a result of regular use of the lab.
