NYSSMA The William A. Shine - Great Neck South High School Music Department had 14 students selected to the 2010 All-State Music Festival, 54 students accepted to the 2010 All-County Music Festival and 2 pianists accepted into the 2010 Piano Showcase at the All-State Festival. I would like to commend each of these students for this outstanding accomplishment. These fine muscians help to inspire all of our students in our instrumental and vocal music programs. As our music department has grown and developed over the years, we have seen an increasing number of our music students selected into prestigious Festivals such as NYSSMA All-County and All-State Music. Thousands of students auditioned for this honor last spring at Solo and Ensemble festivals throughout the State. Each of these students received a perfect score of All State Leve 6 A+/100 at the All-State Solo NYSSMA Festival. We are very proud of these exceptional musicians.
