Ms. Kuhn and Mrs. Marr are honored to share that The Rebel Pen was selected to receive a rank of Excellent in the 2011 NCTE (National Council of Teachers of English) Program to recognize Excellence in Student Literary Magazines. A total of 391 schools entered the 2011 program. Of the 22 literary magazines rated excellent, only two were from middle schools; twenty were from high schools.
