Ms. Sadaka

Communication is the basis of every human interaction, whether it is verbal (with words) or nonverbal (body language). There are two main aspects of speech and language: receptive and expressive. Receptive language is the input – the listening and understanding of what is being communicated. Expressive language is the output – the part that produces speech to communicate to others. Lakeville’s speech and language program identifies, assesses and creates interventions to teach our students strategies and skills to strengthen their communication abilities that impact daily performance.
