Jewelry and Creative Metalworking
This course is designed to introduce the student to the traditional methods of making customized pieces of jewelry and small table sculptures. Students will be taught skills in the basic processes, such as sawing, filing, texturing, hammering, forming, soldering, and stone setting. Students will be initially shown typical design samples and ideas, but they will be encouraged to design originial pieces of their own choosing.
