Algebra 1 CC

Course Description: This course is a first year Algebra course that prepares students for the NYS Regents exam.  Topics covered include, but are not limited to, functions, solving linear equations, quadratics, exponents and polynomials.  The accompanying picture details the assignment; “Algebeard and the Lost Treasure at Seal” in which students must manipulate equations and plot lines and points on a treasure map.  Only after careful calculations will they be able to locate the lost treasure of Algebeard!
