Dystopia

This course is based on three specific novels that deal with the ‘post-apocalyptic’ genre of dystopia.  Authoritarian governments control their citizens through illusion, fear mongering, spread of disease etc.  Students are expected to answer pivotal, expository questions carefully developed to not only peak their interest but to cause them to further examine the techniques used by the author to build the story.  Student understanding of such techniques are put to the test at the end of each module via a creative project using google slides.
