  • Robert J. Lowenberg Prior to retirement at the end of the last school year I worked in education in various positions for over 45 years. My primary teaching career was spent on the high school level with an emphasis on American Literature, Shakespeare, and Writing. I also taught on the collegiate level as an adjunct in the St, John’s University extension program and at York College of the CUNY system. The last 20 years of my career was in school administration as a principal on the elementary and secondary levels as well as an Associate Superintendent of Schools. While teaching I was also English Department Chair and varsity baseball coach.
