Matthew Singer is one of the new Chemistry teachers at Great Neck North High School this year. He has been teaching sciences such as for the last ten years in the Bronx and has been a Dean for the last four. This year he is teaching Regents Chemistry and Forensics. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry Education from University of Delaware and a Masters Degree in Science Education from CUNY Lehman College.  Over the last nine years he has coached Soccer, Gymnastics and Volleyball. His Gymnastics team won the City Championship in 2018. When he’s not at school, he is a volunteer firefighter with the Valley Stream Fire Department, enjoying yoga, cooking and spending time with his family.
