Brianna Castagna graduated from New York University in 2019, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology & Communication from the Steinhardt School of Education.  During this time, she pursued a minor in Child and Adolescent Health Studies through NYU Langone Hospital. She later earned her Master’s of Science Education (MSEd) and is certified to teach all levels of Biology. She is dedicated to continuing her graduate course work in STEM Education, as well as obtaining an additional science certificate. She remains an active member of the NYU community by serving as a guest lecturer to an undergraduate cohort. 

Brianna joined the North High Science Department in 2022. Since then, she has advised a science research club and is currently the advisor for the school’s Science Olympiad Team. Brianna is committed to providing her students with hands-on experiences and real-life applications. She enjoys developing close connections with students and serving as a guide along their academic journeys.
