Can EAP help?
The Employee Assistance Program is a free and confidential counseling and referral resource available to all Great Neck Public School employees and their family members. LECSA staff members are licensed social workers with certifications and/or specialization in employee assistance. LECSA offers assessments, evaluations, short-term counseling, referrals and resources to help resolve a number of personal, work and family related problems. What kind of assistance is available?
LECSA can help you deal with many personal issues including but not limited to: alcohol or other drug and addiction issues, depression, anxiety and other mental health concerns, grief/loss, bereavement, stress, marital issues, elder care, parenting, legal, financial matters, healthcare, housing and more.
How to make an appointment
Call 631-851-1295 to speak with a specialist. All calls are strictly confidential. LECSA also offers a confidential email option on their website:
- Click on the members only tab
- Enter user ID: EAP4ME
- Password: Wellness (case sensitive)
How about urgent matters?
In the event of an emergency, LECSA staff are reachable during non-business hours through their answering service. Calls are answered during evening and overnight hours and on weekends.
