The Summer High School program offers students entering grades 9-12 the opportunity to retake academic courses for high school credit if they did not pass the course during the regular school year.  In order to earn credit for their summer work, high school students must be present for any Regents exam that their courses require on Wednesday, August 13th and/or Thursday, August 14th.  These dates will be given to you upon registration.

For Great Neck North and South High School students, guidance counselors handle all registration. Please speak to your guidance counselor if you will need to enroll in Summer School 2020 to make up academic credit.

Private school students who are legal residents of the Great Neck Public School District are eligible to attend the High School program with the proper documentation of failure (a letter or request form) from their home school. Private school students are asked to complete the High School application and submit it with their request for summer school letter signed by their home school guidance counselor or principal.
