• South High Library's Databases

    A database is any collection of data, or information, that is specially organized for rapid search and retrieval by a computer.  South High Library's collection includes databases of magazines, research journals, newspapers, reference book excerpts, photographs, web sites, maps, and poetry.  Access from any computer in South High is free.   NOTE: All databases with the NOVELNY graphic - New York Online Virtual Electronic Library  - have been provided by the New York State Library. NOVELNY is a Statewide Internet Library connecting New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVELNY is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
