John F. Kennedy Elementary School

LEGO ROBOTICS incorporates all aspects of the STEM Standards (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  Students will work in cooperative groups to build and program robots for special functions.  

This unit encourages teamwork, critical thinking, and problem solving skills and requires a strong commitment of time and effort. Please take your child’s interests and strengths into consideration.

Your fifth grade child has the opportunity to participate in an enrichment course entitled LEGO ROBOTICS taught by Mrs. Maddy Constantino and Ms. Laura Goldstein.  This enrichment unit is scheduled to be held on Tuesdays and run for fifteen sessions.

ALL FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LEGO ROBOTICS PROGRAM. THIS SESSION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAYS AND WILL BEGIN AT 8:10 am. ROBOTICS WILL BEGIN IN THE FALL.
