1. To promote school-wide learning about positive world current events through the initiative "Keeping Up With the Times at JFK" fostering a home-school connection for literacy and mindfulness.

2. To increase the family-school connection by inviting families to JFK, throughout the day and in the evening, to participate in various social, emotional and academic experiences.

2017-2018 goals are promoting empathy and acceptance through the JFK community.  

Character Education will be addressed through a sub-committee made up of teachers and administration.  

In addition, K-2 students will be involved in multiple  STEAM activities and a STEAM night that highlights their work.
