Kathleen Mueller Carpenter
Ms. Carpenter has been a Health Educator at Great Neck North High School since 2005. Prior to her tenure at North, she received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Adelphi University and two NYS teaching certifications in both Physical Education and Health Education. She began her teaching career at I.S. 218 in Brooklyn. While teaching full time, Ms. Carpenter attained an additional NYS teaching certification in Biology. After coming to Great Neck North High School in 2005, she earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Stony Brook University and later, a second Master’s degree in School Building Leadership from St. John’s University. In 2010, Ms. Carpenter became the Department Chairperson of the Health Department. She also serves as the coordinator of the Ninth Grade Advisory Program and the advisor to the Peer Drug Educators Club.
Ms. Mock has been a Health Educator at Great Neck North High School since 2010. Prior to working in Great Neck, she was a Health Educator in Sachem and Smithtown School Districts. Ms. Mock attended SUNY Cortland where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education in 2005 along with being a competitive gymnast for four years. She then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Speical Education at Touro College. Along with serving as an advisor to the Freshman Advisory Program, she is also the advisor of the SADD Club as well as the Girls Varsity Assistant Gymnastics coach.
