Maya Lerner has been teaching high school science since 2009. Mrs. Lerner received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and her masters degree from Stony Brook University. Mrs. Lerner holds New York State Certifications in Biology,  Chemistry,  Physics, and Earth Science. She also holds School Building and District Leader Certificates. In addition to her science teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Lerner serves as the building Staff Developer. Throughout her career,  Mrs. Lerner has coached Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Swimming, JV Girls Lacrosse, and Science Olympiads. 

When Mrs. Lerner is not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves outdoor activities, traveling, and cooking.
