Maya Lerner has had the pleasure of teaching high school science since 2009. Mrs. Lerner received her undergraduate degree from Tufts University and her masters degree from Stony Brook University. Mrs. Lerner holds New York State Certification in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. In addition, she also completed her coursework towards a School Building and District Leader Certificate. Throughout her career, Mrs. Lerner has coached Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Swimming, JV Girls Lacrosse, and Science Olympiads. Mrs. Lerner credits her high school science teachers for inspiring her to go into the field of science. Her hope and goal as a teacher is that she can instill this same passion and appreciation for science within her students.
