Mrs. Christine McCarthy
Christine McCarthy has had the pleasure of teaching high school science and mathematics since 2013. She received her undergraduate degree from SUNY Cortland with a BS in math and physics adolescence education and also holds an MA degree in instructional technology through NYIT. She is dual certified in both math and physics. She serves as the class advisor for the class of 2019 and also as the faculty advisor for the car club. Aside from teaching, Mrs. McCarthy is an avid dog lover and loves to talk about cars! She hopes to inspire her students to not only be interested in science but to also help them become wonderful members of society.
Her favorite quote is:
“So remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes a universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. It matters that you don’t just give up.”
