The Purchasing Department serves the educational program by providing necessary supplies, equipment, and services in a fiscally responsible manner. After these supplies, equipment items, and services have been delivered, the Accounts Payable Department ensures that the providing vendors are paid correctly and promptly.

As a member of the Empire State Purchasing Group, procurement solicitations (i.e., bids and requests for proposals) for the Great Neck Public Schools are published electronically to maximize opportunities for providers of goods and services to participate.
