District Safety Plan

The Proposed 2025-26 Districtwide Safety Plan is available for review below. Residents may direct questions or comments regarding the Safety Plan to Bill Castoro, District Security Supervisor, by calling the GNPS Security Office at (516) 441-4929 or emailing wcastoro@greatneck.k12.ny.us.

In accordance with New York State Education Law, the district will hold a public hearing prior to adopting the updated Safety Plan. This hearing will take place during the GNPS Board of Education public action meeting on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. at the Elizabeth M. Baker Elementary School auditorium.
