School Attendance Areas
The Board of Education of the Great Neck Public Schools has established attendance zones, and all modifications or alterations in school boundaries shall be approved by the Board.
The Superintendent of Schools may make recommendations to the Board, as needed, on the maintenance or alteration of established attendance zones.
Actions to establish, modify, or alter attendance zone boundaries will give priority consideration to the operational needs of the school system, demographic data, and the impact upon the educational program of the school system.
Students will be expected to attend the school that lies within the attendance area in which< they reside.
