  • NYSSMA Solo Festival Information Sheet

    New York State School Music Association

    At the NYSSMA Solo Festival, students receive an appointment to play an instrumental or vocal solo piece (from the NYSSMA Manual edition 33),  play scales, and sight read a short piece of written music.  Performers will play in front of one adjudicator and receive a written evaluation of their performance and a grade.

    PIANO ONLY Level 1-6:   March 14-16, 2023  at Adelphi University Performing Arts Center,  1 South Avenue, Garden City, NY 11530

    2. Levels 1-4  $22,    Levels 5-6 $30

    4. Check memo area: child’s name, instrument and NYSSMA level

    5. Envelope: ‘Music’, child’s full name, and classroom teacher
