- HESC is holding Virtual FAFSA Completion Workshops. These events are free and open to any senior planning to attend college in the fall. Registration is required and is now open at StartHereGetThere.ny.gov/events.
Financial aid professionals will be available to provide private, one-on-one assistance in completing the FAFSA and NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) applications.

- This December, the Magner Career Center at Brooklyn College will offer free career workshops for high school students and their parents. These virtual events are free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required.
This workshop is ideal for young people who want to begin thinking about the world of work. Research has shown that preparing early increases the chance of securing a job with greater ease after graduating from college.
