On June 11, the Great Neck Adult Learning Center hosted its 52nd annual Graduation and Awards Ceremony at North High School. Board of Education trustees, program and district administrators, faculty members, and elected officials were on hand to celebrate with graduates and their proud families.

The Great Neck Adult Learning Center (ALC) offers educational opportunities for adults to earn a high school equivalency diploma, prepare for US citizenship exams, or learn English as a Second Language. Honorees at the 2025 ALC Awards Ceremony included 16 graduates who earned New York State High School Equivalency Diplomas, 25 students who met NYS benchmarks for English language proficiency, 1 student who became a United States citizen, 29 students who demonstrated a commitment to learning through outstanding attendance, and 18 students who received teacher recognition awards.
