At the March 25 public meeting, the Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education honored North High students and staff who played a key role in the school’s second annual Unity Day. This successful program, developed through collaboration with the North High Shared Decision Making Committee, is a school-wide event in which students share personal experiences and performances to an audience of their peers to foster greater understanding, compassion, and cultural awareness.
