Nineteen employees in the Great Neck Public Schools were celebrated for achieving 25-years of service to the GNPS school community. During a ceremony on June 13, the Board of Education and professional associations representing teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and civil service employees applauded these individuals for reaching this significant milestone in their career with the Great Neck Public Schools. 

Silver anniversary employees, by school building, are: Felice Heller-Lenga, Ellen Sue Hersh, Margaret Korcynski, and Beatriz Plaza, John F. Kennedy Elementary; Christine Gordon and Felisa Myer, Lakeville; Janene Rowland, Saddle Rock; Elise Feinman, Parkville School; Deborah Klig and Norine Nagle, North Middle; Mark Boschen, South Middle; James Daszenski, Joan Greenberg, Jayne Pappas, Ellen Shabi, Lisa Stancati, and Thomas Weisswange, South High; Dr. Pamela Levy-Majnemer, North High; and Kathleen Meller, Pupil Personnel Services.
