two high school seniors walking down an elementary school hallway, getting high fives from younger students

On June 16, the Great Neck Public Schools continued the tradition of welcoming graduating high school seniors back to their home elementary schools for "Senior Walk" events. Donning graduation caps and gowns, seniors visited the elementary schools where their public education careers began to inspire young students and reconnect with faculty, staff, and administrators.

Elementary students and staff excitedly lined the hallways to cheer and clap as the graduates celebrated their time in Great Neck. The visits included lots of high-fives and hugs! Photos below highlight the Senior Walk events at JFK, Baker, Kennedy, and Lakeville schools.
