During the March 24 public meeting, GNPS Board of Education trustees joined high school principals and district administrators in congratulating the valedictorians and salutatorians for the Class of 2026. This year’s top students are North High Valedictorian Sophia Li and Salutatorian Julian Elihu, and South High Valedictorian Elaine He and Salutatorian Chloe Ning.

During the recognition, elected officials representing the Town of North Hempstead, Nassau County, and New York State presented proclamations and applauded the students’ success.
