
Seven North High students received awards through the CLASS 22nd Annual National Chinese Essay Contest. Focusing on this year’s theme, “AI and Me,” students demonstrated exceptional Chinese language proficiency, critical thinking and creativity in exploring the relationship between humanity and artificial intelligence. North High award winners, pictured here with Chinese teacher Pan Sam Chan, are: Zi Lin Hu Yang, Stella Lin and Yuchen Liu, Gold Award; Eric Chu, Carol Sun and Joanna Wang, Silver Award; and Cherry Wang, Honorable Mention. CLASS is a national organization that supports Chinese language and culture in PreK-12 education.
