South High School earned second place at the New York State Science Olympiad, securing a spot at the 42nd Annual Science Olympiad National Tournament at the University of Southern California in May.
The top two teams – out of approximately 660 teams statewide – have the opportunity to represent New York at the National Tournament. The South High team will now prepare to compete against 60 of the country’s top-performing teams at the national level.
