At A Glance

The Adult Learning Center provides a variety of educational opportunities for adults to improve basic skills, earn a high school equivalency diploma, prepare for college, or learn English as a Second Language.
 

The Adult Learning Center offers a variety of classes during the day and evening designed to meet your needs. 


The Adult Learning Center is comprised of two programs:

 

English as a Second Language (ESL) program

A range of English-language classes are offered from beginning literacy to advanced ESL (English as a Second Language). As an ESL student, you are required to attend at least three class sessions per week. These sessions are broken up into Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (day only) or Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (day only). Students may also add Saturday.

 

High School Equivalency Program (GED) program

Will prepare students to take the GED examination. Classes are available to improve math, reading, science, social studies, and writing skills. 

 

Classes are made available to adult students (6) days and (4) evenings each week.
