North Middle School 7th & 8th Grade Winter Concert
The North Middle School Music Department proudly presented its 2025 Winter
Concert Series on Dec. 16–17. This GNPS/TV program features music selections
performed by the Grade 7–8 ensembles. Instrumental ensembles are under the direction of
Andrew DeNise and Matthew Trinkwald, music department chair; vocal ensembles are
under the direction of Arielle Murdocco. North Middle Winter Concert airs at 8 and 11:30
a.m., and 3 and 6:30 p.m.
Adult Learning Center Thanksgiving Celebration 2025
The Great Neck Public Schools Adult Learning Center (ALC) hosted its
Thanksgiving celebration on Nov. 18. During this annual event, ALC teachers, staff, and
students are joined by district administrators and Board of Education trustees to share a
traditional meal and express their gratitude for the learning opportunities provided through
this program. ALC Thanksgiving Celebration airs at 11 a.m., and 2:30, 6, and 9:30 p.m.
South Middle School Winter Concert 1 2025
The South Middle School Music Department proudly presented its 2025 Winter
Concerts on Dec. 15–16. This GNPS/TV program features classical selections, popular
works and traditional holiday classics performed by the Senior Orchestra, Senior Chorus,
and Senior Band. Instrumental students are taught by Mark Boschen, Anthony Virgilio, and
Alan Schwartz, music department head; choral students are taught by Korey Coppola.
South Middle Winter Concert airs at 9 a.m., and 12:30, 4, and 7:30 p.m.
Focus on Education: Corey McNamara
Focus on Education is an ongoing series hosted by Superintendent of Schools Dr.
Kenneth R. Bossert, highlighting what’s new and interesting in the district. This episode
features a conversation with Corey McNamara, who is in his first year as principal of Great
Neck North High School. Focus on Education airs at 10 a.m., and 1:30, 5, and 8:30 p.m.
