In this elective science class students will learn about the physical environment in our nation through class discussions and research work. We will begin by learning about the Earth and how the structures we know were formed. Building on this knowledge students will learn about topography and landscapes and how the Earth is an ever changing planet.
Students will learn about the variety of climates and geography we can visit right here at home, and all of the valuable resources that our land provides. From the atmospheric conditions that play a role in local weather and climate, to the unique features that can only be found in specific spots, we will see how great the Earth in America truly is.
