Driver Education
Great Neck Public Schools Community Education will be offering a Fall 2021 Driver Education Program for a limited number of students. Students must have a valid New York State Learner’s Permit at the time of registration. The program will begin on September 22, 2021, and end on January 27, 2022. The cost to each student will be $275. All participants must reside in the Great Neck School District. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Driver Education will be run differently this semester. The Lecture/Theory portion of the classes will be offered once a week on Wednesdays at North High School or Thursdays at South High School. (Students will be required to attend the class at their home school.) Parents/Guardians will be responsible for the 24 hours of driving instruction and supervision. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendance is mandatory.
