    On Oct. 22, students and staff at Lakeville School wore blue clothing to show their commitment to “stomp out” bullying! October is World Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, and STOMP Out Bullying is a national program that educates about the dangers of bullying and empowers students to be upstanders who help others.

  • JFK Pumpkin Personalities Showcase

    JFK library media specialist Andrea Gerstenblatt organized a Pumpkin Personalities Showcase for fifth-grade students and their families. Students were encouraged to read a book of their choice and transform a pumpkin into the main fictional literary character.

  • South High Piano Recital Returns

    On Oct. 14, the South High School Performing Arts Department celebrated the return of live music performances with the 15th annual Piano Recital. Twelve student musicians performed classical works by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Joplin, Rachmaninoff, Schubert, and Tchaikovsky.
