Spring Driver Education Program

Great Neck Public Schools Community Education will be offering a Spring Driver Education Program for a limited number of students. Students must have a valid New York State Learner’s Permit at the time of registration. The program will begin on February 24, 2021 and end on June 17, 2021. The cost to each student will be $250.00. All participants must reside in the Great Neck School District. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Driver Education will be run differently this year. The Lecture/Theory portion of the classes will be offered once a week via Zoom for 16 weeks, and Parents/Guardians will be responsible for the 24 hours of driving instruction and supervision. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to Seniors, followed by Juniors in birth date order.  Attendance is mandatory. Students must be logged on with video for the duration of each class. Failure to comply with this will result in being dropped from the program with no refund or credit.
