Students from South High School joined more than 100 student leaders from across Nassau County at the 2019 Long Island Leaders of Tomorrow Conference on Nov. 15. The full-day conference included speakers, videos, adult and student facilitators, workshops, and resources to cultivate students’ leadership skills in advocacy and cross-cultural relations. The event was presented by ERASE Racism, a regional not-for-profit organization that seeks to achieve greater racial and socio-economic equity for all Long Islanders.
