Carnegie Hall, built in 1891, is one of the most prestigious venues in the world for both classical and popular music. It presents about 250 performances each season. After years of heavy wear and tear, the hall was extensively updated in 1986.This evening we will be experiencing a wonderful concert –a treat for all Classical Music lovers!

The program is slated to include Julia Wolfe New Work (NY Premiere co-commissioned by Carnegie Hall), Sergei Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.5 in G Major Op.55, and Hector Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique, Op.14.

Virtuosity reigns and the stars shine brightly when two Perspectives artists – Michael Tilson Thomas, currently the music director of the San Francisco symphony and artistic director of the New World Symphony based in Miami Beach, Florida, and Yuja Wang, a Beijing-born pianist share the stage.

Before the concert, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at Trattoria Del Arte.

Dinner includes: Mixed Green Salad and Burrata Margherita pizza .Entrée - choice of Lasagna with Bolognese meat sauce or Chicken Paillard with market vegetables or Salmon with avocado trapanese, toasted almonds, citrus salad. Dessert is a choice of Tiramisu or Limoncello Tart. Coffee and tea. Menu subject to change.
