Exciting Changes to District Communication Coming Summer 2024

The District is excited to announce two new communication changes that will take effect with the 2024-25 school year. These changes are designed to provide more seamless communication between families and the school district. Please find more details about the two new platforms below.

Beginning in July, the District will transition to a new communication platform called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection. ParentSquare provides an effective way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to communicate. In ParentSquare, parents will have the ability to:

  • Receive school and class information either immediately or once a day in a daily digest summary
  • Receive emergency alerts including school closing notifications
  • Receive communications in the user’s language of preference
  • Review past communications in one unified, easy-to-navigate interface
  • Select preferred delivery method(s) for communications - email, text, app alert

Parents and guardians will receive additional communication about this platform in July. Before then, parents are asked to go into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal to ensure that their contact information on file is up-to-date. Please follow the link for directions for Updating Personal Contact Information in the Parent Portal.

New District Website

In August, the District will launch an updated website. The new format will make it easier for visitors to find the information they need while continuing to serve as a comprehensive resource for all school district information.

Both of these changes will increase our ability to efficiently communicate and increase transparency in practices with all parents and community members. Additional information will be shared with the school community as the launch dates approach.
