North High Artist Honored by Cornell Cooperative Extension

North High School senior Jacqueline Park has been honored with a Gold Level Award in the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County Student Art Competition. Her award-winning painting, “Sunflowers,” is currently on display at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County’s East Meadow Farm. Jacqueline’s painting will also be the featured artwork for the month of September in the 2024 Long Island Gardening and Calendar Guide, a publication of the Cornell Cooperative Extension that provides home gardeners with daily information regarding best practices and research-based information.
