Students from North High School and South High School joined more than 100 student leaders from across Nassau County at the 2019 Long Island Leaders of Tomorrow Conference on Nov. 15. The full-day conference included speakers, videos, adult and student facilitators, workshops, and resources to cultivate students’ leadership skills in advocacy and cross-cultural relations. The event was presented by ERASE Racism, a regional not-for-profit organization that seeks to achieve greater racial and socio-economic equity for all Long Islanders.
