Saddle Rock Organizes Thanksgiving Donation

Building administrators, club advisors, and B&G staff are photographed with students holding donated goods.

On Nov. 26, student government representatives from Saddle Rock School delivered a donation of Thanksgiving food items to the St. Aloysius Food Pantry in Great Neck. This building-wide donation drive was sponsored by the Saddle Rock Student Government, and kindergarten through fifth-grade classes worked together to collect the components of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Pictured here are Saddle Rock Principal Luciana Bradley and Assistant Principal Sara Goldberg, student government advisors Jessica Schatz Brennan and Lauren Rio, and members of the district’s buildings and grounds staff as they help student representatives prepare the donations for delivery to the food pantry. This is the sixth year that Saddle Rock School has organized a Thanksgiving food collection to benefit local families through the St. Aloysius Food Pantry.
