Third graders at Saddle Rock School have been working with Lego We-Do kits to build Mars rovers. Using skills of perseverance and problem solving, students built their rover and created code to make their robot move, then stop and play a sound when it detected a Lego plant specimen. Some rovers even communicated text back to the iPad. At the end of the session, students recorded their rover to share their work with their family.
