On Feb. 11, students and staff at North Middle School celebrated P.S. I Love You Day, an initiative that raises awareness about the importance of mental health education. Students and staff dressed in purple to show their support for the cause, and activities included live performances by the North Middle music department and positive affirmation lessons in health class.

More than 200 schools across the country participate in P.S. I Love You Day, a mental health campaign that started eleven years ago on Long Island.
